Jacqueline Scott

Jacqueline, JS Makeup Artistry’s owner, has worked as a professional makeup artist since 1990. Her clean, fresh style reflects the Northern California Wine Country setting where Jacqueline is established as the preeminent artist for bridal makeup.

During her career, Jacqueline has worked on numerous fashion shows, photo shoots, television and music video productions, and her work is published in magazines and ad campaigns. In addition, Jacqueline teaches at her bridal and photography makeup school, The Makeup Art Academy as well as for modeling schools. Most recently Jacqueline was named Best Bridal Makeup Artist in Sonoma County by KRON TV and Bay Bella Publishing. Jacqueline was recently featured in an article about makeup tips in The Knot Northern California Magazine.

Lauren Kelsay

Lauren has been a core member of the JS Makeup Artistry Team since 1999. She is both a talented makeup artist as well as an accomplished hair designer. Lauren specializes in intricate updo’s. She is proficient at creating a timeless look that photographs well and leaves the bride still looking like herself. Lauren has a calming influence on the wedding day. She has the experience to help even the most nervous bride.

Lauren is a Licensed Cosmetologist and a graduate of Lytle’s Redwood Empire Beauty College. She also attended the Santa Rosa Junior College studying art, followed by The Academy of Art in San Francisco majoring in Graphic Design. She has studied fashion photography and bridal makeup at the Makeup Art Academy by JS multiple times and keeps abreast on the most up to date looks as well as perfecting the classics.Veronica Passalacqua

Veronica Passalacqua is an accomplished Makeup Artist and Esthetician with an extraordinary eye for detail.

Veronica got her start in the beauty industry in 2001 and her love for makeup stems back to childhood. In addition to being a Certified Makeup & Hair Artist Veronica is also a successful Licensed Esthetician, a graduate of Lytle’s Redwood Empire Beauty College. Inspired by her own quest for a healthy and beautiful complexion, Veronica enjoys teaching others how to achieve and maintain perfect skin. Veronica’s bridal makeup and hair certification were earned through the The Makeup Art Academy by JS Makeup Artistry under Jacqueline Scott.

Veronica’s expertise lies at creating a timeless look that photographs beautifully and leaves the bride still looking like herself. From chic and contemporary to over the top glamorous, Veronica creates a clean, breathtaking look that is right for each bride on her special day.

Jocelyn Gomez

Jocelyn is a licensed Cosmetologist and a Professional Makeup Artist and the Bridal Coordinator for JS Makeup Artistry. She is a graduate of The Makeup Art Academy. She has years of experience doing wedding makeup and hair, and styling for professional photo shoots. She is a passionate stylist with a vivid eye for detail and is proficient at designing a complete look to fit the Bride’s personality.

Rachel Vaden

Rachel has been a hairstylist for 15 years. She went to Cosmetology School in San Diego and then worked in a salon specializing in hair cutting/styling and special occasion hair. She quickly built a clientele and began doing hair for weddings, parties and proms on location and in the salon. She has had the privilege of being able to have her work published several times in “Inspire”.   Shehas also done up-dos for fashion shows and ahair art show in San Diego.

Rachel continues her education by taking countless specialty hair classes and is always striving to learn and build her knowledge base and skill level. Rachel relocated to Santa Rosa and was thrilled to begin working on the JS team last season.
